The level of complexity in some clinical conditions may require the management by a clinician who has undertaken a Masters or Doctorate degree in Prosthodontics.  A prosthodontist's expertise is often sought for simple to complex tooth/implant-supported restorations, significantly worn teeth, multidisciplinary treatment, highly aesthetic cases, severe ridge resorption issues and oral defects.
